I love the misty look from the long exposure! I wonder what it would look like to get a model in an image like that.

I haven't ventured too deep into portraiture yet but that's an interesting idea! Seems like that would require separate shots for the model and background then combining in photoshop. I'm using lightroom right now but will definitely think of doing something like this when I get photoshop :)

You could always have the model run into shot and freeze. =) Kind of like light painting.

Yeah, when the shutter's open for a long time the waves go in and out and the light reflects off of them the whole time making it seem like a carpet of mist. :)
