Sunlight over Paradise Falls by PaulBrozenich Sunlight over Paradise Falls by PaulBrozenich
Paradise Falls, Thousand Oaks CA.

Paradise falls can be reached at the end of a short hike through Wildwood Park in Thousand Oaks. It's a nice place to visit with multiple hiking trails and impressive scenery. I highly recommend a visit if you live in the area.

This is one of the first shots I've taken with my new Hoya ND400 neutral density filter. The filter removes about 9 stops of light and I'm looking forward to taking lots of images with it. I stacked this with my circular polarizer and made a 90 second exposure of the falls. So far I'm really liking the new creative possibilities and I'm excited to try this out on some seascapes soon.

90 seconds!!! You're lucky we didn't have an earthquake. Is your Hoya a variable? I want to get a 77mm for my best lenses, so it's either a new car or a variable ND filter.

Hi Walt!

Yeah we're pretty lucky! Crossing my fingers :)

Unfortunately the filter's not variable; I decided to give up the convenience for the much much lower price :D

I've been using live view in a lot of situations to focus and compose, or taking the filter off.

So you did go out and spend the rest of the money on a new car?
